Marco Hansell and Anaya Joy created this intention in the first month of their relationship and birthed the concept of Freelationship almost 6 years ago. They now live a relationship that is beyond their wildest dreams and they do it with a level of joy and ease that would typically seem impossible in the kind of dynamics and challenges they have faced.

They created a child together and navigate living in a relationship where they have deep honesty about EVERY bit of their thoughts and lives, feel FREE to change their opinions and desires, can choose to live separately, date other people guided only by the rule that they constantly check-in with and collaborate on how their relationship dynamic will continue every single day. They both describe this seemingly non-traditional relationship as the most committed, safe, expansive, exciting and supportive relationship either of them have ever experienced.

All of the lessons, practices and foundations of the Freelationship come from their realtime learnings of developing tools in realtime to solve their relationship issues and live true to their intention. They have broken through many layers of pre-programmed ways of relationship thinking and consider themselves relationship “possibitilitarians” in that they believe in seeing infinite possibilities in relationships, believe that all kinds of relationships, approaches and arrangements are possible, deserve an opportunity to be tried, and none are better or worse than another as long as they follow their intention or that couples harmonious intention.
